My passion for social commentary was birthed many years ago as a young adult. It all began at the tender age of 19 when I would take trips oversees during collage breaks leading up to vacations from my various places of employment. Many a times these excursions would find me commuting alone or unaccompanied therefore I had to initiate  a forum  for self-entertainment  to pass the mundane hours between flight schedules.  Spontaneously,  one note pad and a pen later, I started writing letters  on the plane to my best friend Marsha Palmer. In the correspondence I would give comical descriptions of whatever was “seen on the scene” .. I would vividly describe the demeanour, shape, size, smell and  expressions of all  the passengers I encountered and to throw in a little brawta I’d turn my attention to the  flight crew.  I found myself laughing sheepishly and diabolically while jotting notes  about someone sitting literally  beside me. Wus  if dem was a twanger.   Naturally I would always embellish to add color and flavor  to the stories.  ..Upon my return, I would  proudly present these writings to my friend of which a rousing shower of laughter and feverish euphoria would follow upon viewing… Every time I went away the first thing that would  greet me upon my return  was “Weh mi letter deh?”.  It stopped for a long while until about  20 years later when  I unearthed the urge  to remark on my favourite local  TV program, School’s Challenge Quiz.  Where better to garner a participative  audience  than through social media’s Facebook. So as usual, I gave my  amusingly  eclectic  spin on what  transpired in every match. This became especially therapeutic during my pregnancy and post delivery phase of my beautiful baby boy Jaden. All my heated comments, mildly derogatory slander and rib-tickling reviews were somehow widely received by a welcoming  and gracious audience. This time my other best friend Douglas Prout said “You need to do something with this talent Sketts!”  At the end of the season I was always asked by friends “When are you going to start a blog or  do the Youtube videos?”.. Well.. FINALLYYYY… I did it.. The Blog

You see folks, the mark  that I wish to impart on this world before my departure  is that of laughter.. We all need happiness  at some point in our lives, even if it’s temporary. So I hope you all share my enthusiasm for knowledge coupled with  entertainment. My tag line “The Aftermath” describes it all.. Stay tuned for PJaden’s  commentary of all the upcoming seasons for School’s Challenge Quiz and Junior School’s Challenge Quiz. Do enjoy!
