The star of the match was the captain for Charlemont high… BTW a Central Win.. Mek wi get dat out di way.. So Di captain now… Di man HYPPPEEEEEER dan Skyjuice or Capelton flagman.. Everyting him do him fling him whole bady, yeye, tongue, teet and toe inna. Jah know It hawwd fi seh pass and do dohti wine same time u nuh. Let’s talk about the fact that I don’t know what his other team mates’ voices sound like.. Every question weh ask him a fling shoulda or Yeng Yeng out di answer. Greeting folks. So in tonight’s match Morant Bay didn’t win, but they were surely the stars of tonight’s game. Why?…They showed tenacity, courage and persistence despite facing a seasonal giant in the face of adversity. Don’t get me wrong folks we all know that KC was always the favourite… However I was particularly impressed by a young lady on Morant Bay’s team. She was like a Nanny wid cream hair  among the Maroons. The young warrior was so filled with passion and vivaciousness. I wanda if she is a citizen of Wackanda.. (BTW Black Panther  mawwwwdddddd… ) Naw lie, both teams started off a bit slow.. Couple wrong bong well!! (Young people google that expression please). But yuh si when di buzzer section start… Di gap surely got out of hand like Audley Shaw phone bill. And nuh ask if Morant Bay never did a chase KC like dawg inna mating season. Loved  the intensity.. Great rivalry.  Gracious defeat..  KC  my bane, u get weh again!!  No worry, soon release uno fi champs. Uno ever notice during champs a bare taxi man have KC tie a swing pon di  mirror? Aaaahhh, such proud graduates.  Final score 34 –  23.. One and ready !!

My mom constantly uses the expression “Jackass seh di worl nuh level…” The saying holds true for the match witnessed tonight. This evening  beheld  two of the season’s finest that  vied ardently to secure the coveted spot for advancement to the next round. They went yeye to yeye, toe to toe,  teeth to teeth, nose to nose. NO TONGUE ROUN ERE!!!  Mi se di two good up school dem put on a piece of performance bra.  So you may be wondering how the expression applies to this? Truth be told is that I wish the two never met until further in the competition. Meadowbrook did  exceptionally well despite loosing.. Far better than so many others who floated on obeah man payroll  or luck of the draw.. Especially di KFC School pon Hope Rd.  Naw call nuh name still. Jah know, a bitter sweet match of which the victory was well deserved by the Mighty Men of Munroe. Love dem style still,, Bwoy dem shawwwppp like Steve Harvey suit.
