Good Night Jamaica.. I’m back.. Sorry for the short break in transmission but I just got in from Dubai using  my vacation days to tour Asia..  NOT.. !!!!!  (Always wanted to say that though).. So anyways, in my absence I missed 3 matches. Actually, there were 2 matches and one Movie. The feature presentation on Tuesday night  was Dumb and Dumber starring  Bugs Yallahs and Daffy JC. The match shoulda open with the boy from Sixth  Sense saying “I see dunce people..”… Well done Merrie Melodies on the new addition to the cast.  The only thing memorable about Yallahs was the captain. One lovely set of eye brows di bwoy had  u si. Mi hear guinep good fi grow it..  Anyway, I  watched the rebroadcast and after the first 7 mins mi go clip mi toe nail, go shell some peas den pick ackee. Slow like molasses uphill.. Ahmmmm Yallahs, u cyaa seh  pass in the first section u ere. Every question dem get dem sidown till di bell go off.. Dem mussi tink a did breaks time.. Jackass seh di world nuh level… Such was the exclamation after seeing the magnificent performance of 2 wonderful teams.. Wolmer’s Girls and Meadowbrook High. Firstly, girls…. U ROCK!! U never win… But U ROCK.. Yallahs head now  did TUFF like a ROCK. U ketch di difference?? Both them and Meadowbrook went toe to toe in the first two segments.. And nuh asssskkkkk eff Meadowbrook naine have one wassy female chuwawa .. Gyal bad u fret.. Yo Quiero Taco Bell??  She shined brightly amongst her male counterparts especially in the speed section.. Wolmers coulda did more vigilant still. Pity they never got past the first round cause mi know dem woulda  dun JC.  (So would Winward Rd Primary)  But the better team won.. Final score 37 – 24. Happy Friday folks.. I figured mine was ruined by tonight’s match so what the heck.. Let me just pass on the misery.. So unfortunately I had no idea that tonight would be Double Header. Which means 2 matches, with one starting 30 mins earlier. So I arrived just in time to see the last 4 minutes of the match between York Castle and Denbigh High. Truth be told, the little I saw gave me a sigh of relief as I pondered to myself “Lawd dem boring eeeeh.. Tank gawd mi never miss nutten..”.. Unknown to poor me, the match after would make THAT match look like Shaggy and Friends. Anyway, the final score for the first was York Castle 28  Denbigh 25.. So moving on to what I call Silence of the Lambs.. Jamaica,,, dis match….. OMG… Dinthil vs Oberlin… Talk about a Snicker moment …NOT GOING ANYWHERE FOR  A WHILE????? Are we there yet ????. All  Dennis Hall a shout from di grave “Uno nuh dun yet??” .. Is like a di breeze alone tek part inna di competition.  Obviously this was a special  broadcast for  the deaf cause I never hear a peeep outta dem inna di  buzzer section. Lickle most u swear a  JLP convention u deh.. Bare bell a ring..  Now both teams at the start clearrrrlyyyy acted as one… No this is not a typo, I really do mean ONE. As in both tied at 1 after the first segment. Dem ONE and Gawwwwd know why dem bother come town..  Mussi fi try Tutti Frutti aka –  “TOWN CREAM”..  After a while Marlene she nuh tap chat to herself.. AAAAH BWOYY…  Den Ahhhmm Oberlin.. U don’t bump fist when u answer wrong u ere???  Watching both teams was like waiting on Oprah to get married… SLOOOWWWWWWW.. Needless to say, the match ended Oberlin 24 and Dinthill 12. U waan si Oberlin a kin teet like prize donkey.. SMH

“Cyaaaa ketch mi again… Dem cyaaa ketch me again..”  Gooooodd nigghtttt gentle folks.. *Takes a looonnggg stretch… deeep breath in, then gently  exhales*… That’s the reaction I had after having witnessed  a lovely  display of  sheer entertainment. Tonight was so  refreshing. After tonight St. Jago is  now deemed  the Usain Bolt of SCQ. Di man dem close Opening Challenge at 10.  Closed the Speed section at 37. And ended the Buzzer Challenge with a WHOPPING 55!!. A so di man dem  a slap  weh di question dem like Natalie Neita Headley slap di man wha day. Can bet she versed at dominoes too.  All mi a beg dem do  is try  NUH BADA follow Usain wid di 3^rd place ting iya..
