Midday report … Keeping it brief.. So last week Friday’s match with Ardenne and Mona High… Nerve wrecking, heart rending and emotionally devastating.. Before we get to the meat of the matter, let’s just talk about how Mona has been consistent in their efforts to secure a place in the quarter-finals for the past 2 years. Notice I said consistent in effort, for good fortune has still  not graced this more than deserving institution. This was the same school that faced KC last year and despite their loss they too gave KC a run for their money in a heated chase. Scores ended 29- 22.  Mi naw lie,..DEM NEEEEED A BUSS. U coulda si di frustration pon di captain face when the match ended as he stood up painfully and slammed his hand against the panel… Sigh the agony of defeat. They were behind by 1 point when the  last question was asked.. They buzzed in, Ardenne held their breath, Mona answered incorrectly which instantly triggered  a feverishly deafening scream in the studio from Ardenne fans.. Mi love Ardenne but mi woulda luv it even more if Mona won. Dem remind mi of the people who go embassy 10 time straight… Muss buss…. Final score 37-34.. Keep u head up Mona!!
